We fancy taking a day trip to Ventnor tomorrow but concerned about where to park for the morning, anyone got any ideas please?

Well there is parking down on the esplanade , but ! It's a torturous route down the hill through the cascade gardens . You could park at ventnor botanical gardens and walk along past the cricket ground and along and down through steep hill cove beach back through bonchurch along beach to ventnor , there's a nice cafe down steephill cove crab sandwiches etc . Steephill cove is exactly what says steep a lot of steps but beautiful all the same .

Actually you might be better parking on the road towards the botanical gardens along ventnor park gardens it's an half decent road with regards to the road width , and walk back from there ,hope that helps ventnor is very tricky place for motorhomes it's quite narrow and steep .
Good luck anyway

Thanks all, I’ll have have a look, you’ve been really helpful (y)

Challenging on the way down even more so on the way up, grip wise, especially in the wet! 4 wheel braking down two wheel drive up!

We are parked in Dudley Road car park, there are 2 coach bays which the official sign says to use and just a short jaunt to the town centre

Well done , didn’t know about that one guess it must be fairly new? But looks in a good position it’s a while since I’ve been to ventnor . (y)

There are 2 coach bays, I doubt the coaches will use it as the car bays will stop them being able to turn, it cost about £5 for 8 hours.
