VanBitz is closed so can't ask them. Just been to the van disengaged the alarm and noticed that the blue led's are flashing five times then a pause, five times then a pause, and so on. Opened door and went in van without alarm triggering. Anyone any idea what the problem may be?

Many thanks people. I will relock and see what happens. cheers. Mind you I can't think why it would have been trigger unless it was storm Dennis last night .
Hi just make sure there are no cables or electrical equipment in the vicinity of the sensor, it’s usually in the front middle around the centre glove box area, I had a charging cable hanging down there (forgot to put it away) alarm sounded, moved cable away problem solved?

My alarm (not s-b) has triggered twice in the last 2 weeks directly after a gust of the high winds. When the winds finally drop a bit I will reset. It`s behind (alarmed) gates and in full view of the CCTV anyway.

Not sure if it’s a similar issue, but on Jan 21st I received an alarm notification from MetaTrak, which isn’t unusual, except my van was outside of my front window and the alarm had not activated.
When I next entered the van and deactivated the alarm, the LED continued flashing to let me know of the alarm.

Similar as to the best of my knowledge the alarm has not sounded and the first I knew of the incident was when I noticed the flashing LED's. It has since reset quite normally but I'm about to wake the neighbours by manually triggering the panic alarm.

I hate to admit it but that did cross my mind. If it happens again I shall commence a big game hunt.

or peppermint oil around access points, which can be identified using talcum powder on the floor near the edges
