Hi apologies if this has already been asked. i have a 19 plate ducato with a rollerteam zafiro 696 body, looking to fit this bit of kit to stop battery draining in storage...is it as simple as a wire from the BM to the engine battery - and 1 to the two leisure batteries, (powered via solar panel) - and 1 to an earthing point?
ive heard of people using the cbe ds300 box....but i would not have a clue on how to do that one!
any advice, (with pictures lol!), would be appreciated.
cheers

Vanbitz will advise if you sent photos of your installation. They are very helpful indeed.

Easiest bit of kit to fit as you say brown wire wire to the engine battery, red one to the leisure battery and black one to a good earth point. If you look in the fuse box where the wires from the battery enter there should be terminals on the p c board. Normally three one from each battery and one for the earth. If awkward to access just run a wire with an inline fuse 3 amp max from each battery and a straight unfused wire to a good earth. This will top up your engine battery by a max 1 amp when the engine battery fall below a certain level. It’s fit and forget.

You will find all 3 required connection points in the DS 300 box B1 B2 and a common -ve, just use a meter to double check the which battery is which B.
