Harmony line 690g
Hi, just a Query on my Van weight, on the Drivers Pillar is a Sticker with I expect is the Max Van weight. It is a 7mtr Burstner Harmony 690g that I think has a Max weight of 3500 but I'm a little confused why there is 5000 on the sticker , can anyone advise , thanks Chris
Ps: sorry for the poor pic.

Just had it weighed before we set off to getting down here in Devon , all loaded with Fuel / some water/ Food & clothes/ Aqua Roll / Wastemaster / chairs ect & Total Weight was 3560 Kg , so 60 Kgs over ,had front axle weighed 1720 & Rear 1800 Kgs.
TBH,, you’re probably okay at that, certainly within the 5% tolerance for prosecution. However, there is no leeway to carry any more, and you’ve already identified what you could do without.
In our situation, we are planning longer trips next year, and taking more sports kit with us, a BBQ, and the satellite dish is not on the roof at present, all of hitch would increase the load on the rear axle. We both have C1 licences, and the cost of getting SV Tech to do their stuff will soon be recovered by the reduced VED.

If pushed to drop the grey waste, it can always be dispensed into an empty cassette and emptied down the Elsan point.
Then someone kicks off because they see you emptying a cassette where it shouldn't be emptied.
They won't know it's grey water.
Use a bucket.

I certainly wouldn’t take aquaroll and waste master. A good long hose will allow you to fill up from a distance from a tap. We actually carry two hoses so can connect together. And collapsible watering can. For waste, we rarely use any sites with drive over waste. We have a set of collapze hoses which allows us to drain into ditches etc when on CL type sites, or occasionally to get to difficult drains. If to difficult to dump just wait u til next site or at home.

John, you appear to have read............and quoted my post "incorrectly". :(

Clarification would be appreciated thanks John.

Jock. ;)
