I believe these are for the roof of a car , where would you locate it on a motorhome ?

You are only going to be using it while stationary so Bluetac would probably hold it.
You could fit a painted steel plate to the roof.

My oyster sat is perfect....especially as my motorhome is aluminium except the cab area..

My roof vents are all different and don't open very far. I think however as these gadgets are only about 1.5inches thick, I should be able to pop it out the washroom vent. It won't stick though. Hopefully won't need to use it anyway. I'll attach a bit of string so I can retrieve it.
