I know this has been a regular subject, however I'm still confused.
I have a 2014 Auto-Trail V-line 600 PVC with just 6,000miles on the clock at present. Being keen to keep safety in mind I am looking at the condition of the tyres being some 7yrs old. At present they are showing little wear, more importantly no cracking.
When I look in the Auto-Trail Handbook it states 215/70R15CP, so yes, the special Camper Tyres are fitted. BUT, if I have the optional alloy wheels the handbook states standard commercial rated (C rated) tyres are fitted,(and not the Camper CP type)
So why do Alloys only require commercial tyres, but standard steel wheels require the Camper styleheavy duty tyres
Confused - not 'alf.
