Morning all, I would like to make a new bathroom door particularly one that has not got a 150mm gap top and bottom. Anyone any ideas of what wood is normally used ? obviously I will need to coat it with a "contact" type of covering or stain. I did think of making two pieces to fit the gaps but they would have to be profiled to existing door as it is bevelled at the sides.

Assuming Motorhome, two types of material used. Very lightweight 10-12mm thick or or 2mm ply with a polystyrene core.
You should be able to get pre finished board from the self build suppliers like Magnum Motorhomes, Clearview etc.

Hi lightweight ply comes in 12/15/and 18 mm 😉also 3mm wall board. Other size may be available but I have never come across anyone who stocks them. Lots of different colours 🙂
