I've put a second tv in the bedroom and was just going to put another 4k firestick in it, as the dish cables run only to the entrance door tv. When routing around near where my solar cables come into the MH, I found a cable marked hdmi ethernet. It looks pretty much the same as any hdmi cable. Then whilst sorting the 12v for the bedroom tv, I found what looks like the other end of this cable which travels a long way from the area near the tv, near the entrance door, under the floor and to the bedroom.

Before I pull the microwave out (again!), re-route the cable and run it near the entrance tv. Has anyone else got this set up (ours is a Florium) in their MH? I'm thinking that I can connect the two tv's and what's playing on the entrance tv should show on the bedroom tv. I'd use this just for when we've got the satellite dish up for domestic channels. That is if the signal isn't too degraded running the length from entrance tv to bedroom tv.

Am I right in thinking that this can be done?

Most TV's don't have HDMI out, but you could join the HDMI in from the satellite decoder and run that to both TV's. Or run a second cable from the satellite decoder using video/audio or scart leads. Mine was set up with scart to the lounge tv and AV to the bedroom tv. There is the usual red white and yellow sockets on the wall beside each, which feed back to a cupboard where the Oyster kit was installed

I don't think the concept of displaying the same image on the entrance TV on the bedroom TV is achievable by using a TV to TV HDMI cable. HDMI is primarily an INPUT so is used to send a signal into the TV. There are ARC HDMI cables and interfaces but this just means it can send Audio and other "control" signals back to the source; the source being the FrieTV in your example.

What you CAN do, however, is to buy a decent, preferably powered HDMI Splitter.

Amazon product ASIN B0732MD43P
Plug the FireTV into the input of the splitter and plug the entrance TV HDMI cable into the one output and then the HDMI cable you found into the other output. That way the FireTV will be sending the same signal to both TVs as its output is "split" down the two HDMI cables.

However, you may find controlling the FireTV from a distance to be a challenge...

Thanks for the quick replies. l understand now that hdmi's a one way street. It was the Ethernet marking on it that threw me. Could be it's there to put something like a DVD player in the cupboard where the microwave now lives.
I'm glad I don't have to get my electricians cable puller out and the microwave can stay in place. Easier just to plug firestick in with terrestrial TV app.

Thanks again.

I use an app on the firestick in the van and can get all the sky channels I pay for at home

Stick another firestick in the second TV.
That way you can watch whatever you want independent of the other TV.
