Hi, does anyone use 'Beebs' to access iplayer etc while abroad? Sounds like it could be good. We have Huawei mhwi.fi but are having problems setting it up for abroad.

If you have a UK sim it should just work but if using a sim from another country you will need to use a vpn.
Most of the free vpn's get blocked by the Beeb so you may have to pay for one.

Using BBC iplayer yesterday in France. No issues with uk sim. Unlike chnl 4 that wouldn’t

No problems getting any UK programs using my UK Lebara SIM. As said above a VPN is needed if using a foreign sim.

Interesting. Ours is a Lebara sim. No worky on 4 this holiday.

Interesting. Watched all of 'Friday night live' on channel 4 last night here in Italy (and regreted it!) . Will be watching the formula 1 qualifing highlights in a moment. Don't expect any problems. Worked faultlessly here for the last 6 weeks or so.
