Going away at Christmas to Bowness. The site describes tv as poor. Whats the best option for tv ? Firestick and data and if i go down that route can i get virgin go from my home account?

Yes, i installed virgin go and it works ok.
Check the network phone signal strength for campsite also

Does the site have them?
Quite often sites with poor signal reception has a TV signal piped around the pitches, connections on the EHU bollard

It always is at Christmas, mostly repeats.
Which site are you staying at?, we have always got a signal at Bowness CCC.

Bowness ccc the one they took over this year. We have phoned them and all they say is tv reception is poor what ever that means. Not that bothered normally but daughter in tow so to keep moaning to a minimum will need TV

Braithwaite Fold. Just been reading some reviews regarding TV signal, one says ok and another says hit & miss, whilst another says pitches not near trees signal ok. It can depend on your aerial ours is a Status 550
with signal amplifier.

Probably better than the repeat films on TV anyway.

Whoever did that map must be colour blind, it says bright green areas strong signal, dark green area poorer signal, the whole map is light green even around the transmitter.
