Hi is there such a thing as a motorhome 12v surround sound system that is good but compact

I have seen a couple of 12v sound bars and has anyone any experience of these if they work ok

We have an Avtex works really well with tv and Bluetooth for Spotify 👍

not thought about this before! but; could a car system be rigged to the 12v TV?

if it can then the choice is huge.

We had an Avtex soundbar but was expensive and poor sound so sent it back and bought an " Anker " Sound Boost , can be hard wired or Bluetooth about 9" x 2" x 2" , we use it in the house of the MBL or Tablet , about £40

I have just tried our avtex with a simple Bluetooth TX adapter to play the sound through our Echo 3rd gen, which now you can get a rechargeable power pack for.

great sound adjustable bass / treble etc through the app, and you can position wherever you like and simple to store.

Hi do you mean the echo 3 has the avtex tv going through it :-)

you can connect the echo to just about any Bluetooth resource. you do it throught the Alexa app.

ps;; if your avtex does not have Bluetooth < ours does not, you need to plug a Bluetooth transmitter device in the headphone outlet.

you can get a decent one for around £25 that you can power from the usb on the tv.

Avtex sound bar for me too. Can’t fault it.
Even better is that it mounts directly to the Avtex TV.

Our TV packed in on Tuesday so we had to fetch a new one from currys on the scooter, that was 11 miles of fun😆. Anyway we got the latest smart LG 24" with Bluetooth built in, £180 great TV and no more faffing with head/earphones.

It pairs with the little Bluetooth speaker Ann can have on her pillow but also we've got a First E bluetooth transmitter that the van stereo tunes into.. Fantastic🤩 why has it taken so long for TVs to get bluetooth? It's been on phones since 2003 ish 🤔

Mains with a 19v PSU but only 25w.

We route through the van sound system on occasions, but beware of what you're doing. On a couple of occasions we've had the van next door politely ask us to turn that f*ing row down. Motorhomes aren't as sound proof as houses.

If you hunt around you can find some really good 5.1 head units with dvd or blu-Ray, we have a sub mounted under one of the seats. Never heard the Avtex and I’m sure it’s probably very good for the price but if you want true surround sound there is only one way to go, it’s easy to spend 20k on a lounge set up, cinemas spend 200k plus to make us enjoy films as they were intende.
Happy shopping

Was looking everywhere for the power usage of the equivalent 24" Avtex (£419😳) TV couldn't find it anywhere so I asked on amazon last night. 2 sellers have replied with "25w"

So there's nothing in it apart from the avtex isn't Bluetooth and is £240 dearer. 😆

We just lose about 250ma efficiency through the inverter if not on hook up... I can easily live with that 😏

Just switched ehu and solar off. Ran the new TV off the inverter and it's actually just 18w 😍
