We have this set up in our Hymer, there is a small box on outside of it, which I think is for an outside TV satellite, but we've never used that.
But I've no idea what the black box is for with 2 buttons A and B.

Any ideas ?

Could it be to select roof aerial or black box aerial.

Do you have an external aerial point, there is sometimes one so if you were on a site they may provide an aerial point that you can connect to.

Yes there's an outside aerial connection on side of van, I've never opened it or needed to use it.

Looks like an aerial splitter to me.
Common IN then A or B out.
A could be front mounted TV...
B could be a second rear TV.
Regular TV aerial doesn't like feeding two TVs at the same time without a booster.

There are three ports on the top.
1 is one input from external aerial input. Labelled A on device
2 is out to TV. Labelled to TV
3 is second input, which is van aerial via booster. Labelled C on device.

1 and 3 van/external could be the other way around. But think that is correct from picture.
