Does anybody else find that the plastic tv aerials on motorhomes are as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Twist it turn it look what way everyone else has theirs pointed, nothing absolutely useless. Moan over. Haha.

It does not click open for me. I just wanted to see the end of the cycle race today, no worries. Cheers

Our Status 580 works fine.

What I have noticed over the years is poor cabling. Check your cables and power to the amp.

A real killer is a plug that should be soldered and some ****** has just stuck the wire up the middle, which works 'till the wire tarnishes.

Never had problems with our Status 530 aerial on both caravan and motorhome apart from once when I had switched the power to the aerial amp off!

checked that in case and twisted the little dial up to max. Given us now though thanks.

Usually the amplifier is turned of.
Ours is brilliant.
Download DTV Antenna app. It points to the broadcast TV aerials in that area.

I couldn’t understand why our amplifier had stopped working until I realised that something had caught the on/off switch in the cupboard

Do you have a modern Digital Arial because we do not & will be upgrading
