when i put the pump on water leaks out of the top connection on the water heater.is this a common fault and how do I fix this please.i have seen the 3 way valves and wondering if thats what I need for the fix.thanjs guys

Mine sprung a leak a couple of weeks ago in Wurzburg Germany. The hot water feed from the boiler had the most ridiculous joint. A sort of push fit into the hot water outlet pipe which then had a male plastic thread on the other end going to a brass female threaded connector which was held in the receiving pipe with a very poor crimped on clip. I just cut all that put and using a short piece of plastic pipe and two jubilee clips made a much simpler straight joint.
That all sounds complicated. It’s not it’s easy. Might be worth having a look if yours is a similar thing. I fixed it whilst on a stellplatz with bits I carry in my tool box.

I'll take a photo and post that and Glen, you could be right.not sure if its over complicated with whats on now.cheers guys.

Looking forward to seeing the photo/s.

I stripped it down and put it back together and made sure it was tight and its not leaking.so it hasn't been tight enough.the problem i had was a blowout back in February in Spain and had quite abit damage as the tyre punched a hole through the wheel arch and going by the bill, they had to take the water heater out for the repair and not had those connections tight enough.but another problem now,I mentioned that the pipes under the wardrobe had been pulled and had disconnected and it was supposed to be sorted and he said its not leaking and when I came out of the van, noticed water from the back and they are still leaking,so really p'd off about that,as he guaranteed it was fixed.😡
