Truma sapphire vario air con issue?

I have the above aircon fitted in the habitation area of my van. just tried to run the air con in preparation for summer. I find that the fan runs ok and the remote works ok, but the compressor does not seem to be firing up and the unit only produces ambient air temperature.
does anyone have any advise as to why this is happening. I have followed Truma’s advice in the manual and everything appears to be ok, but only warm air from the vents and compressor definitely not running? Also can anyone recommend a truma specialist who may be able to fix this. I am in South Wales but will travel if repair is pheasible.

the thermostat / sensor will have detected that your inside temperature is to low and that's why the compressor wont kick in
try heating the inside of your motorhome and then try it
