Following on from yesterdays post where my Truma valve was leaking I removed it today and found to my surprise you can strip them down.
I checked the valve seating and found that was all clean so on further inspection I found the adjuster was loose on the thread and due to use had backed off a bit causing the valve not to seat properly.
I adjusted it a bit so the valve was seating again then just put a bit of tape on the thread to stop it working loose again. Be aware if you do adjust one of these i think it is also a pressure release valve for the boiler. That saved £70.
