As a result of a rare (for us ) stay on site with hook-up we have discovered that our Truma Combi is not working on electricity, but as always is ok on lpg. Having done a bit of poking around I have found

- the accessible fuses are ok (I haven’t delved into the ‘only for experts’ 10 amp 240 volt fuse)
- there are two leds? showing on the visible pc board .. one green, one red. I presume that they should both be showing green?
- a search on Fun hasn’t revealed a great deal that I can relate to .. other than that this could be expensive!

Is there anything else I could look at or do before I submit and hand over to the professionals?

Do the leds tell me anything?

Any thoughts, advice, experience welcome please.

Press the reset button by the LEDs.
May have to press and hold can't remember.

if the red led is flashing a code what is it, it will be a series of about 8 flashes some long some short then a pause and will repeat, this code can point you in the right direction

Similar problem with my Truma Combi 6 the heating elements had failed, a very common fault it turns out, my van was coming up 5 years old. A replacement repair kit from Truma is around £300 it contains a lot of gaskets which are not required just to replace elements. OEM replacement elements can be found on eBay for £150-£160 delivered. To replace them does require some stripping of the boiler, also the old elements are prone to distorting and being a very snug fit in the heat transfer fins can be difficult to remove. I purchased the elements from eBay and our local Caravan service centre fitted them for me carrying out a leak test etc on completion so have a warranty of sorts. There are videos showing how to replace the elements on YouTube if you wish to diy. For info the 4E and 6E element are identical.
