We're going along the Moselle from Trier to Koblenz 23rd November for two weeks.
Thinking of doing

Trier
Bernkastel Kues
Traben Trarbach
Cochem
Koblenz

Can anyone recommend campsite/stellplatz open at this time of year with ehu.
Thanks in advance.

Stellplatz at Trier certainly has electric, nice Stellplatz at Zell and a campsite, Campercontact should tell you what facilities each has.

Martin

Yes the one up by the bridge has electric.

Lots of sites and Stellplatz all along both banks don’t drive too far in one day otherwise you’ll miss a lot... some days we only went around the bend of the river 2-3 miles..:D

Sites can be cheeper then Stellplatz so check ahead...(y)

I'll have a good read of your thread @Snowbird and pick out the best bits.
Never been to Trier or Koblenz so would like to visit them but the rest of the two weeks anywhere along the Moselle is good for us.

Dont know if i would fancy this is November, depends on how much rain i guess.

We had some good advise and will pass it on. Start at Trier and visit town and the tourist office. There you can buy a map (English version available) and it marks most of the stopovers along the river.. Been a while since we did it, may have to go again as we loved it,,,

It won't rain. I've had a word with the big man upstairs.

We stayed at the Bernkastel one - just north of tthe main town - excellent. Right on the river. Nice little village next to it. Cycleway into Bernkastel, bus stop next to the site.

Lovely people. Excellent facilites.
