Hi Funsters

Leaving for Germany tonight via Holland with a view to ending up at the Italian lakes. As we have never driven through Germany looking for recommendations for a stop around half way down as heading to the Black Forest for a few days. A good campsite recommendation would be greatly appreciated

Hi we’re currently in Germany and just used Stelplatz with no issues although some can be busy after 2pm, what route are you taking and where roughly do you want to stop.

Tricky really as depends on your route. Maybe the site at Koblenz, or potter along the Mosel and pick anywhere, or St Gaur just south of Koblenz at the Loreley Rock on banks of Rhine. Camping Loreley Blick

We are travelling through Holland first so the Koblenz option sounds great. Thank you

The stellplatz adjacent to wellness spas - anything "Bad:" - are usually good.
