Hi

we are travelling back to the UK from Spain up to Calais. If there any paperwork you require to travel other than the EuroTunnel online form? Thank you

You need to wite a letter to Boris telling him you are bypassing the 2 week Spanish quarantine because you are travelling back through France, if your lucky you could get back before the letter arrives and he slaps a 2 week quarantine on France returnees.

no issue travelling in France at the moment, some areas are upping the mask requirement to all public areas but default is any close area no forms needed. We live in France.

Interesting but serious question which I haven't seen answered yet. As the OP is coming from Spain don't they automatically have to quarantine when they get back in the UK? Or because they cross "from France" which is currently on the safe list, they are exempt? What if they take 14 days to cross France - does that qualify for the UK quarantine regs?

If they have been in a country without an "air bridge" in the last 14 days then they have to quarantine. If they take 14 days to travel through France without falling ill then they do not need to quarantine.

Seeing the rise of new case's in France 2,300 tonight the op may not have the option of quarantine in France before long, 4,500 new cases in Spain.

Yes, that's my opinion too.

That was also in my mind. Beware anyone planning to travel to France!

We travelled from Spain and into France before the quarantine was announced then into Germany and back into France, we filled the form in online from the government web site, arriving at Calais they checked the dogs passport never asked about any forms, never checked in or under the motorhome, or that we had turned our gas off, just asked to self distance and wear a mask on the ferry.
Had a nice night at Canterbury park and ride, the next day got held up on the M25 both sides closed for a while before the M11 due to immigrants on the carriageway, 😉 welcome to England 🙄 every other country can't clear a road quick enough. 😁 Bob.

4,500 new cases in Spain.
yes it sounds horrific that headline figure.Unfortunately it doesn't represent the actual daily new cases which was 1895, which is falling, for yesterday. The other 2607 deaths are unreported ones that had not been registered over the last 5 months.
The day before was similar with a 'headline' of 4088 deaths but only 1683 actually died in previous 24 hrs.
The rest where some more found under the desk that hadn't been recorded.:giggle:

We (5) were asked to show one completed form on a phone so I would have the pdf of this readily to hand when going through Brit Customs, just in case.
