Travel Costs to Costa Blanca 2022: a brief comparison

Planning our Spring 2022 trip to collect the 'van from storage in Benidorm. The choice is to drive through France or get the Santander ferry .

We have started planning a trip for next year to see a bit of Spain and portugal. Got a bit of a surprise when we looked at the ferry costs to Santander so looked at the options from Dover but when we started doing similar calculations like this it doesn't seem that there's a lot in it price wise after taking into considerations fuel and tolls.

You could always fly out to Alicanti, fares can be quite cheap,as long as you don't need your car. But suppose you could hire one reasonably cheaply.
