Hi all,
I am hoping to pick up a 'new to me' motorhome over the next couple of weeks. I will be travelling on temporary Belgian plates from Dover to Pembroke and on to ROI. As far as I can understand it I should have no difficulty with UK authorities with travelling on transit plates from EU? Does anyone know differently or can you direct me to the relevant website or regulations?
Many thanks
Kilroy

Drove my new van back from Germany on temp plates, UK insurance kicked in when I arrived at the tunnel and I never had any issues.
My insurance company NFU we’re happy to cover on the VIN number until I arrived back home.

We did the same with our last van 3 years ago and will be picking up our new van in a couple of weeks, same insurance arrangement as Coastal Cruiser.

A case of "Kilroy woz 'ere" then? ( For those of a certain age)
There you go mate! ;) Was a time when Kilroy was everywhere!
