I’ve dealt with some annoying small rust blisters on my 2010 Hobby Motorhome on a Transit Cab/chassis.
I would like to get a front wheel arch replaced as the rust is just starting to come through on an outside edge. I had one replaced a couple of years ago but the company A&B autos at Arundel no longer do bodywork.
Can anybody recommend someone in the south preferably Hants or West Sussex.
I am really struggling to find a company that can fit in a motorhome.
Ive even rang the local motorhome dealers (Premier) and they can’t recommend anyone.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Graham

We who cut our teeth on welding repairs have all but given up
The Insurance companies dont like it
I have to have in place almost half a million pounds welding cover to charge you £40 to stich on a front arch
Its not till the s**t hits the fan do you realise.
It no longer makes economical sense to undertake such work, good luck with your search and beware the back street boys wont carry such cover.

Years ago had some welding done on a mini by a mobile welder. Highly qualified and coded for aviation. Great job, neatest welding I had ever seen and a reasonable price. Maybe worth checking out mobile welders.

Another repair workshop, not paintshop, that would be big enough to fit your Motorhome in would be Chris at www.cjdltd.co.uk 01243 513771 who should be able to sort the welding side of things (West Wittering based) but I am not sure about paintwork.

Thankyou. Everymans at Westhampnet are having a look on Tuesday but if no go then I will try Chris.
