Just a tad..
Got a Snooper STP116 Tyre Pressure Monitoring System with six sensors for the six tyres. This is the display of that helps..

So two of the near side sensors have had their caps pinched, not the whole sensor, just the plastic cap. 🤬

I’ve googled and eBayed/Amazoned but failed to find either the caps or sensors for sale… anyone got a source please??

Thanks very much in advance 🤞✔️

They look to be the same as the Tyrepal sensors. Have you checked their site for compatability?

Do you have the locking nuts fitted to the rear of your sensors? The caps come off if you try to unscrew the complete sensor when the locking nuts are fitted. They definitely look the same as tyrepal ones. You would probably need to remove the caps off two complete tyrepal sensors and fit them onto yours.

Thanks for the replies..

Are you both (Tombola & Itsmcb) saying Bluetooth TPMS sensors are generic, as in its a Bluetooth signal and all displays will pick them up?

So in layman terms, I get a tyrepal sensor and when paired, that will work with my snooper display, is that correct?

Yes,
how do I know, I took my car in for new wheels ..TPMS knackered when I got it home,
calls them, OH YEAH sorry forgot to tell you about that the sensor inside was knackered when we removed the tyre (yeh sure it was), and they guy glued it back together, which normally works.
Well it didnt
OH yeh no worries bring it back, we will sort it
Do you not need to order a part
no they are all basically the same

(me thinking well WTF didnt you do that in the first place)

you could maybe ask someone else on your site can you "borrow" one to try though

You can buy a Tyre Pilot monitor and four sensors for £20.00 on Amazon that’s what snooper call their monitors so I would assume same type just branded differently😊🤔👍

I think you could just replace the cover on your existing sensor with one from a cheaper brand maybe. That's assuming yours still work?

I think it might be better to give up on sensors and just check your tyres 'every so often' and then check the tread and sidewalls... it's called maintenance..............

too much reliance on 'technology' theses days

I must admit, I bought Tyrepal Solar system and, after reading similar posts, have decided to wait and see as to whether I’ll fit them. There seem to a lot of people who find the system more of a hindrance than a help.

I’m aware that some posters swear by them and say they’re the best safety feature they’ve fitted (which was why I bought them) but they do seem to have issues!

mine was quite handy down the motorway a couple of years ago showed it depleting rapidly, and hazard warnings piped up.
Pulled off and low and behold flat within a few mins. Wouldnt have noticed that driving along till handling started to sway. Lucky mine was rear.

I can only sing their praises you immediately know if you have a tyre problem, no matter what the situation or not 🙂

If you can wait until we join you, in February, I've got Tyrepal monitors fitted. Will only take minutes to check if the caps are compatible :coolest:
