Elddis based on Peug
On my Peugeot Boxer 2018 based Elldis 105 my Tpms warning light came on and my local garage checked tyre pressures were all ok, tyre modules were ok but the fault lay in the electronic control unit. At the same time the mileage indicator also flashed. They could not access full diagnosis because the first failure was blocking that. Eventually I was driving the vehicle to the people who I bought it from (Marquis) when the airbag warning light also came on..... rather a coincidence I thought! I had not realised these companies did not do base vehicle work themselves and they took it to a Peugeot main agent, of course the most expensive option and time consuming, and they asked for £1100 to fix both modules and re-programme. If it had been under warranty it would take even more time as their warranty insurer has to be involved and supply spares. Now I have removed the airbag module and sent it to 'Crash Data' for repair/reset for around £80 and am thinking of asking my local garage to replace the Tpms module which can be bought from Peugeot for about £180. They should be able to use their diagnostic tool to reset everything including the tyre pressure settings. The vehicle has only covered 14K miles so has anyone else had these experiences and could it be the Tpms module that affected the Airbag system? I have asked Crash Data to tell me if they do not find a fault which will be interesting. Many workmen use these vehicles (vans) so do they have such problems?

The airbag issue is it appears mainly motorhome, I sent mine to crashdata couldn't fix needed new.

According to many posts on here, the airbag module won't last even if they can fix it. The logged fault will probably be something like "low voltage".
Also when it goes again they won't want to know

Plenty people have used crash data but with mixed results, some would not use again!!

Crash Data repaired my mates air bag module on his 2015 Hymer Exsis, £160 iirc.
Lasted 3 months and then he had to have a new module fitted.
It would have been cheaper just to have had it replaced in the first place.
