Does anyone have any information about fitting towbars to Carthago motorhomes? Particularly where the garage "drops" lower than the main floor. Does anyone know if the chassis extensions that have to be fitted should be bolted through the garage floor?

They aren't on my Le Voyageur nor would I expect them to be. The first structural support is the end of the main chassis. A towbar extended from there to the rear of the van will flex by a small amount & must be free to do so. No part of the garage floor is strong enough to withstand any vertical or horizontal movement of the towbar.
