Can anyone recommend a good towbar maker/fitter in SE Scotland or Northern England?

I also have used Mike Parkinson in the past. Agree he is an ideal choice.

I bought my A frame from Armitage Trailers and agree, a great company and service.

I've always had mine fitted by a mobile fitter. Fewer overheads and they come to you.

Contact Watling Towbars. They will talk to you , make sure the bar is right for your van and ship to a local fitter. Have bought bars for 2 vans. First class

I 2nd 3rd and 4th Mike Parkinson in Freckleton, done a few of our motorhomes and have arranged to go there in May to have another fitted to Our new Elddis Autoquest en route to our European trip.
All round good guy who does a great job. Btw his tow bars are "hot dipped galvanised " so no rust !!!

Thanks all, I decided on Armitage at Ferrybridge

If in the Durham area there is a long standing Tow Bar fitting/manufacturing centre just outside Durham City on the Belmont Industrial Estate. It is next to the A1M and just over a mile from the CC site at Durham (The Grange). I have used them in the past and always been ok. They do all the motorhome work for local dealers in the North East.
