Have you any other recommendations please particularly campsites that are dog friendly x
Croatia campsites are very expensive but if you have ACSI and at this time of the year you will have timed it right. Wild camping is frowned upon in Croatia but there are some very good campsites and I will leave you to explore your ACSI book or App to find the dog friendly ones. The places we stayed at were as follows.
Kamp Porton Biondi for visiting Rovinj. The campsite was basic with a shuttle bus to Rovinj, a must not miss place.
Aminess Sirena Campsite for visiting Novigrad. You can walk in from here and this is a magical little port that is well worth a visit.
Pula, another must see place. We arrived just as the ACSI discounts finished in June and they wanted 40€ a night so we moved further south and spent a week on the coast with magical views. (I cant remember the exact place but there are loads of campsites down there and also worth a visit.
