Tossed Strawberry Salad

Cos lettuce refreshed, and cut chunky. Washed sliced strawberries, Dressing= redcurrant jelly or seedless strawberry jam, olive oil, and red wine vinegar. Minutes before serving toss all ingredients with some poppy seeds. Check for seasoning, dress with a scatter of sliced roasted almonds for crunch.

Square of chocolate in a Chilli Con Carne, who'd believe it. My old mum thought apple sauce with pork was posh! Pineapple with gammon, where will it all end, never I hope.
