My Fiamma awning has torn where the fabric (plastic)meets the part you wind out.
Any suggestions, I don’t want to have to buy a complete new awning. Thanks

Take it apart cut it off where it is torn re-attach to the roller you won't notice the awning being a few inches shorter.

I did that but with the other end (next to the front rail). Had the van a few years after that & it didn't fail again.

Thanks it’s by the front rail where it’s torn. I just need to establish how to dismantle it in order to reattach it beyond the tear.

We have the fabric from a Thule 3.5m awning which was faulty ( winding mechanism) which was fixed but they put in new fabric. Yours for free if you collect - North Shropshire

Thanks Fraggie22 but unfortunately it won’t fit. Very kind of you though.

I had the same issue last year. Unfortunately the only viable solution was new fabric due to the size of the tear and an insurance claim. I kept the scrap fabric and made an awning skirt out of some of it. Rose awnings did a great job
