One day hopefully
We have been looking for some time for a 'new to us' motorhome.
On Autotrader we found a 2013 Hobby 650, low mileage, private seller, and a reasonable price for these times.
Loads of photographs but little information given.
I though I would run the reg. number through the MOT checker.
This shows the history for a Hobby 609F Premium rather than a 650.
I am of the belief that the MOT Checker info. is more likely to be accurate.
A bit dodgy?
Your thoughts?

It's actually a 60GF so both the listing and the mot check are wrong. Have you been in touch with the seller? This one is the same year, similar price from a dealer.

Edit, forgot to post link 🙄

What's too good to be true about this though? It's up for almost the same price as one with similar mileage at a dealers. If the OP likes it then a phone call to the seller and then a viewing would be in order. Not all the ads are scams.

According to HM Gov MOT Check site, the reg. number refers to a Hobby 609F Premium not a Hobby 60GF. The ad. on Autotrader is headed that it is a 650.

Thanks for that. The one at Moran has been sold.

No not all ads are scams.
I just had an somewhat uncomfortable feeling after accessing the MOT Checker.

The woman taking the pics to sell the van looks a bit funny to me. What’s that extrusion from her neck 🤪🥺

If you look on Autotrader there is no option to list a 60GF. They may have considered 650 to be the closest match to list. If it's available to view and they have all the paperwork I personally wouldn't discount it.

Common dealer trick , leave the ad up at a good price to suck potential buyers in

I've seen it many times with cars , even had one let me drive to the dealership when a mate was looking for a cheap car and asked me to go with him

Sorry it's just sold

what in 20 minutes

yes , we've got this POS in though
