Tomorrow I am going to start the motorhome for the first time in 12 months

Well after falling over and damaging my shoulder and then Corvid I have not moved or started the Motorhome in twelve months.

Tomorrow is the big day - checked the battery voltages today and as both showing healthy voltages the solar penal has looked after them nicely.

I will let you know how I get on

If you can, I would try letting the engine turn over a couple of times avoiding an actual start just to let the oil get pumping around any dry areas of engine.

It will start straight away is my guess ours stands 6 months and starts instantly

If you left it with the handbrake on it may be stuck on when released, if it is, try reversing to free it.

Brilliant, you’ll have a smile from ear to ear, I did last week and that was just not seeing our baby for 3 months. Hubby going to collect from storage today so we can check nooks and crannies for visitors!

It started straight off and ticked over perfectly.

The brakes were seized on and thanks to Geoff C. for the good advice as it worked perfectly.

The brakes are a bit binding and making a lot of noise but will hopefully the rust will be worn off soon and all will be ok.
