Hi there, I'm in a bit of a head spin here,I have a Thetford shower pod/wetroom and when I bought the the van a week ago the shower was working. A few days later I turned on the shower and nothing happened but when I turned on the sink tap that worked, so I left the sink tap running and then tried the shower and lo and behold it worked, but only with the sink tap open, strange, can anyone tell me as to why this happened please?

What he said.

In your system each tap has a small switch in it that activates the water pump. Often it is the wire to this little switch that fails due to it continuously being flexed when tap is operated.

You will need to take the tap apart and find the switch, see if it can be repaired.

Thanks so much for the rapid reply,I'm an absolute plod when it comes to plumbing and electrics, but I'll give it a look and see what is going on.Thing is when I was shown the van the shower worked without using the sink tap.

If you're still reading.... Micro switches are like light bulbs, they work time and time again then one day you switch it on and it doesn't work.

Photo of the shower lever could help because some use different type of micro switch.
