since 2006 ( I think ! )
Now son and BOTH daughters are motorhomers..
Youngest daughter, Toni, has been a tugger for a long while but today she and her other half bought their first Motorhome.. a Frankia
It will need a fair bit of TLC and tidying up but its a very nice mh on the whole and I reckon she will be extremely happy with it :-)

Nice one, John... (y)

I see family rallies in the future. Hope you have plenty of parking if they all come to visit you at the same time! :)

Wonder if that's a record for one family?
Here in my yard we have our van, sons, daughters, grandsons caravan, son in laws fathers mh, that's 5 all lined up all basicly family members

Apart from Des and Donna ( eldest daughter and her hubby ) the others live in houses around us !
Darrell is next door, Toni bout 100 yards away but she keeps her caravan out side our place.. I should think that will be moved elsewhere and the MH put in its place...
Donna lives a LONG way away from us.. Well by comparison ) She lives 3 miles away !! Though like us, they spend a lot of time away ( currently in Spain again )

Dad is ALWAYS bloody busy !
if it aint one thing its another ! ! ! !

Yeh, but does the step work ?

Dunno mate.. I think it is manual !
I have just had a very quick external look and all in all not too bad at all !
Yes, it looks a bit ratty but all only age related.
It has a solar panel and a tow bar fitted.
From what I gather the fan belt is not well but that may well be just an adjustment.. It is an A class and quite large !!
I also gather they got it for virtually no money.. A really great first van for them in fact !

From what you describe, worthless to anyone with no DIY skills but with a dad who does, just as good a new £100k van.

You can cancel Zahora, there's no way you'll have the time now.

he will find time for both.

There is an old and true saying... if you want something done, give it to a busy man !

Personally and risking the wrath of Dame Penelope, it's no contest. Beni has everything in abundance and better weather.

Got to agree Brian.
This is our first trip to Beni in our MH and we love it. Never thought we would, but we do -there is just SO much to do.
Not sure we could spend all winter here though, but then we never stay anywhere much more than three weeks.

It will all be down to prices Brian.. including electric costs.
I will be earholing Dave ( SnowBird ) for info when I see him :-)

I bet youll be asking for fun group discount now

(Im back at work this week so I'll be sorting them promised power supplies out for you, are you coming up to gringly meet? if so I can pop over and drop them off, if not pm me your snail and I'll post them)
