tips wanted on France

We are considering southern France for Xmas/New Year, any tips out there ?

Depends what you are looking for in southern France. A bit of Beach? or some nice cold snowy mountain scenary?

It might help if you say how far south you wish to travel.

What I will say is France at Christmas is excelent. They have a different way of celebrating. An old fashioned way.

Nothing wrong with the French, had two very good French hols in the MH and the people have been fantastic:thumb:

Thought about Lyon area, maybe further south or trains into mountains.
we are totally open minded on areas to visit as have never been this time of year.:thumb:

We have always had a great welcome in France.Probabally a lot better than some places in the U.K.Just wish I could understand the language a bit better ,but full marks to them for trying hard to keep theit identity.:thumb:
