We had agreed with the owner (Don) and we set off down to Tintern Abbey and stayed at The Anchor car park, which is opposite the Abbey and could not be closer.

We dined at the Anchor and the food was good, but not as good as the beer.. I had several Butty Bach (http://www.wyevalleybrewery.co.uk/)

Don is a delight to know and it was a pleasure to stay there..

If you intend using the Anchor, PLEASE contact them 1st
