Been there at Jaws bash. 2 no shows, no contact, zilch. Air Ambulance will be happy to take the rally fee paid in advance.

I appreciate the reasoning behind the restriction on the general communication re 'Free members" but it's a shame it somehow can't be circumvented for circumstances like this.
It isn't the first time I have had this occur as a Marshall.

The problem is that nobody knows what their circumstances are right now.

I suppose that, as they've paid in full (when they were subscribed), their pitch should be held, as they may well resubscribe the day before.

And if they don't and turn up, then you can be happy in the knowledge that you have done everything a reasonable person could do to make them aware they would be turned away if not members.

I completely agree, it's hard enough organising an event without having to chase people, especially if Alan James makes no attempt to contact you having logged on since multiple alerts have been posted for him.

Hopefully in time all will become clear for you.
