I have a new tuned megaphone exhaust for my generator , it gives an extra .01 bhp and is only running at 111 db,so a real wake up call to get so much extra for so little.
As my Truma heater has died a death, and SWMBO gets cold, I SHALL HAVE TO run the generator ALL NIGHT at the Stratford Show and for all weekend but maybe as the fanheater takes a load of power I should take the diesel CLACKER TACKER one as it is cheaper to run , on red diesel. Will I annoy anybody?

I've bought and fitted my disco lights to the underside of the awning canopy cassette - followed instructions from last months MMM article.

Don't you have a nice smokey 2 stroke genny with a straight through exhaust pipe?

No, it is a 4 stroke I do not like two stroke smoke reminds me of my chainsaws, and flavours my food in the van.

First moho 11/2013, second 11/2014 current from 09/2019.
Just bought 2 x 5 litre EFOY methanol fuel things (unfortunately there is not enough 'height' in the side locker for the 10 litre tubs).

Bought a litre of Autoglym super resin polish and a sponge applicator so Mrs A doesn't use all her old T towels while she's polishing the van.
Some of us men are so thoughtful............

Into the awning light. The LEDs have on/off switch on the remote, so can have awning light on only or plus the disco lights.

I did start off with wiring a separate rocker switch and inline fuse, but it either kept blowing the inline fuse or the vans awning fuse in the main box, so I ended up taking the rocker switch and inline fuse out.

The LEDs are stuck to conduit attached to canopy cassette.

A couple of licensed Walkie talkies ( I already have the license). We are taking two vehicles to France this week, Mrs A will be following in her car and doesn't want to get lost!
You can use 2 way radios while driving, so I'm going to..."..( but carefully, obviously....)

Which brand & what distance can you use them over?
Not tried them for some time as they were always hit and miss!

I had a couple of PMR446 radios a few years ago, but they were never very good but were licence free being just .5w power.
These are 5W amatuer radios tuned to the commercial licence frequencies, so the range should be anything up to 25km although I haven't tried them beyond the garden yet.
I bought 4 in all. 2 are Intek DX930s's, couldn't programme them for the correct frequencies so I sent them back to the shop to be done. Should be back today.
The other two are Baofeng UV-B5's, about a quarter of the price of the Intek and probably exactly the same inside! These have voice prompts and are easier to use and I managed to programme them myself quite easily ( they had proper instructions with them!)
Again, not sure on range, but the sound is very clear and quality appears to be very good.
Time will tell which is the better radio......

Thanks to @tonyidle suggestion, I've just taken delivery and fit child proof cupboard locks to stop drawers and cupboards opening whilst on the move.
I'm sure these will work a treat.

Looks great Andy
Looks like it's angled with fitting in the groove which is good, as it will shine better into awning when out

One ton of Cotswold stone chippings for back garden. Hubby and I have just finished shifting and spreading them. Am aching in places I didn't even know I had but it looks proper nice now. Well (y)chuffed.

This week I was bought (does that count?) a new bike! It's an early anniversary present from Ron. I totally love it! It's SO much more comfortable to ride than my old bike and I can't wait to ride around France on it this summer! I now have pannier bags fitted and a handlebar bag that doubles as a handbag. Lucky bunny!
