I think the auction fee percentage is capped at £40 for business sellers & £45 for private

For me, I think the advert is dreadful, way too long and an insult to the prospective buyer's intelligence - each to their own

Maybe they are thinking of ceasing trading in this climate and know they could not back a warranty in future.

There is no obligation to issue a warranty as such, but the dealer will of course have to comply with their statutory obligations under the Consumer Protection Regulations.

EDIT.. just re-read the original.. Suggests the van has placed it with at least one 'agent', though which is which who knows !!
