Good idea though if vauxhall are backing the van and the build, saves all this servicing oo ah of going to two different dealers.<Broken link removed>

Vivaro same as a Renault traffic, did 100s of thousands miles in one when I was a driver, fantastic van as is the master we have now.Ha ha... I don't heat or eat, Mo. Wouldn't dream of going into debt like that. Was just interested.
I asked because despite what people's experiences are with Vauxhall.. I have an old, 2 door hatchback vauxhall corsa that I doubt anyone on here would be seen as a passenger even. Touch wood it has been a brilliant little car for me with no problems at all and plenty of mpg. I guess I was lucky.![]()
Use to run the Trafic and Vivaro vans in my fleet, good to drive but got to be careful as they had issues with the injectors seizing in the head and also after 100k the gearbox goes bang on certain year models.Vivaro same as a Renault traffic, did 100s of thousands miles in one when I was a driver, fantastic van as is the master we have now.
Had both of them problems , not my van so didn't have the bill, but still good to drive, and would think they have sorted that by nowUse to run the Trafic and Vivaro vans in my fleet, good to drive but got to be careful as they had issues with the injectors seizing in the head and also after 100k the gearbox goes bang on certain year models.
I bought 2 new Vivaro minibuses in 2010 both had gearbox issue and a trading that luckily was under warranty that had a new engine after injector issues.Had both of them problems , not my van so didn't have the bill, but still good to drive, and would think they have sorted that by now![]()

I had been used to driving old mercs and tranny's, and when the boss said we were going to Renault's I was dumbstruck, but wow , first time out couldn't believe it, comfortable as any car , quiet, and wow again, fast as s..t off a shovel, loved it.Both nice vans but unfortunately they are up against the mighty VW that has a cult following. IMO both are probably better vans than the VW but come sale time the VW will hold it's price a lot better. Say in 5 yrs time the VW will be worth 1/3 more than the other 2 and at 10 years it will be double the price....invest wisely![]()
& what lunatic invented that? To go from a chain to that defies belief.they did have ones with wet cam belts but had trouble with them
You can buy a bigger pvc than any of the "smaller" ones mentioned new. The VWs start about 23k plus vat as a unconverted van.Fiat Ducato start around £17500 + vatHorses for courses. I would rather buy a bigger van second hand. Don’t want to run to the loo in the middle of the night
