Thermostatic fan Fiat Ducato

Have a 2019 Fiat 130 coachbuilt and the cooling fan operates almost as soon as I start up within seconds. Also constantly cuts in even before temperature reaches normal. Is this normal or is the fan thermostat faulty. Any advice much appreciated before I consult Fiat main dealer.

Yes I think that’s quite normal well mine does that and has done for the past 3 and a bit years so I do t think you have a problem but check if it makes you feel better

Have you got the aircon switched on? If so, then I think it's normal - it's cooling the condenser rather than the engine. Should behave more reasonably with the aircon off.

When on a site I can tell when a fiat Ducato comes on site without looking up because of the fan that’s usually running after after a very short time .

Thanks for advice. I will try it with aircon off.
