There is LPG in Benidorm

Good news for anyone in the area. Just filled up the tanks with LPG at the Repsol station on the CV70 approaching Terra Mitica. :thumb:

Just a three minute drive from all the campsites in Benidorm. And the nice lady in the station has adaptors if you don't!

Its there, its open and its dispensing LPG. Have just been past and had a look. Pumps 1 and 2 are LPG but it would be a bit tight getting out of the drive through with an RV and trailer. No problem with Europeans.

If you are heading South from there on the A7, Caravanas Lorca has autogas. Just South of Lorca.

Oh dear, we recently fitted a Gas-it refillable bottle with the filler on the inside of the locker. We haven't had any problems with garages in the UK so far, is this a Spanish or a general European thing?

I have only heard of it being enforced in France. It is forbidden to fill Gas Bottles on a forecourt and apparently some attendants interpret the opening of a gas locker to fill Bottles as a contravention of that law. Especially if they are having a Bad Day !!

I put the same co-ord into google earth and see the same Toyota dealer but no service station, plenty of broken ground that they are going to build something on so guess that will be it and the maps and ariel photos are all a bit old.

EDIT, Just opposite Toyota dealer according to Repsol web site.

The Toyota dealer is on the right as you come up from Benidorm. Its on the road out of Benidorm going past the rail station towards La Nucia. As I posted earlier, ITS OPEN, ITS SERVING LPG AND ITS THE REPSOL STATION ON THE LEFT AS YOU HIT THE NEW ROUNDABOUT. Go round the roundabout and back towards Benidorm for access. If Google earth does not show it, then its there loss.
