We are off to Toronto today for Christmas and New Year. Also meet up with daughter and No1 grand daughter (only 3 months old).

I've been asked twice if we are going in our motorhome !

Sometimes you just have to laugh out loud.

It is possible to ship it to Canada but you have to put your motorhome in a container and it is rather expensive!

It's the same when I ran London marathon, even though I'd ran quite a few marathons before London when I told people I was in London I got some weird comments.

Have you ran that far before.
Is this the longest marathon you'll do.
How far is it. It's a marathon so same as all the others

I think non runners assume with it being the biggest (most runners) in the world that it's longer than the rest.

I live on a main road. Get all sorts of questions from passers-by, especially when cleaning the MH.

Question to wife, "Do you go with him in it?"
Statement to me, "Bet it's a bit juicy; how many miles can you go?"
General question. "What happens when you get to where you're going?"
Then, there's the inevitable toilet question; "How do you go to the toilet?"

I don't laugh at them (least not outwardly). I normally give them a tour of the van if interested enough.

I used to get asked " you drive that ( nodding at motorhome) on your own?"
No, I have an invisible driver or I'm training up the dog to drive came to mind.......
