Very little
Hi i got myself a revolt card and have been putting money on it for a while.
When i come to use it do i just go to an atm and withdraw in the currency ive been putting money into, eg i have gbp, euros, and turkish lira,
I did try the card at asda the other day and it was easy as a normal cashline card.
Ive a couple of trips planned, in turkey for example do i use card like normal atm? Withdrawing out the lira account?
Do revolt need to know your in a particular country? What if you go from france to spain, or belguim, germany

I believe you will have a limit of £200 per month cash withdrawal, but otherwise it works just like a normal card in my experience, if you want more cash than the limit they charge 2%. I did find the screen options confusing when getting cash.

Look at the terminal when you make a card payment and it should be in the local currency and will take that currency from your card, once I had to choose € or £.

It's been around a while
Very useful pre payment card, all managed through an app on your phone.
Very good exchange rates and an immediate alert every time it's used.
Accepted everywhere.
I find it very useful.

You can update and increase your spending limit as soon as you receive your card. We had to provide extra ID to do this

You are correct about using an ATM, simply put in your card and withdraw the local currency.
However the amount will be withdrawn from you GB£ account - one account will be used to convert to all currency.
You can have accounts in other currency but I haven’t done this
You don’t need to tell Revolut where you are

Would suggest using the app to manage your card and account as it has numerous added security featu

If you do it that way you will get the rate on the day. The main advantage of using a Revolut account is to pre buy currency at favourable rates.

Hi Robert

That depends on what option you pick on the cash machine, the machine wants you to accept their poor rate and convert from your £ account but there is another option that takes it from the account matching the country you are visiting, as long as you have cash in it sufficient to cover the withdrawal.

Long time
I’ve had the Revolut account/card for several years now and find it very good, use an ATM to withdraw cash (subject to limit) and then just use the same as any debit card,
You can remind yourself of your card PIN and block/unblock the card, and is a Tleaf gets hold of it they can only spend what you’ve put on it!
In France I use the Credit Agricole bank ATMs.
Some automatic machines won’t accept the card.

I have mine in euros as well so it normally comes direct from there.

But you can lock the card using phone app if that happens & lose nothing(y)

I keep sterling euros and dollars on mine and use it rather than PayPal for buying online from abroad

Some automatic machines won’t accept the card

So far we have found that

Automatic fuel pumps don't
Automatic washing machine outlets don't

we did accidentally try a wash machine but did get a refund

we tend no to use them for cash if we can help it but we can transfer by phone app from any of our accounts

Both of us also have the vaults set up so every time it rounds the use up and the change goes into the "vault" and we put it back into our account when we have a decent amount in there

Nine of the pre paid cards work for fuel, I've also found a couple of Aires where they won't work

You mean NONE ??? begun to guess that one
yet they work at the Autoroute tolls

was told by a Revolut advisor that they need LIVE internet connection to work so stand alone Automated stuff won't work with any pre paid card not just Revolut

Still love it though
