Ian, the 'open the throttle up well in advance of the gradient' technique worked well and enabled me to maintain a decent speed on the climbs, without the engine running out of puff. Seemed counter intuitive compared to my VW Tig TDi where she will 'dig in' at quite a light throttle setting and then build speed gradually, but two different vehicles and vehicle weights! Thanks again Sandra for another great Meet.great location, great company, great cost and great weather what more could you want!!
