The MH must know it's on its way abroad. Last night whilst checking the freezer the crappy plastic lock had frozen and the actuator arm had snapped. With no spares (that I can find on line) available. I decided to remove the lock, take it apart and find the offending article. See below. I then managed to find some aluminium bar that would suit. So I fettled one in aluminium, which hopefully won't snap.

I reassembled the lock with copious amounts of valseline and put it back in the door. I placed it in warm water before disassembly and it came apart nicely, with the foam sealers still intact. I just refitted these with some decent quality double-sided tape.

Works a treat. Fingers crossed.
