Hi funsters,
booked in at this site next weekend For 3 nights Closest site I can find to Holy Island, has anyone stayed here ?

Hi Otter Spotter, yeah we've stayed there quite a few times. Lovely site with fantastic views.Had some lovely meals there too.

Look forward to your review, you cant get closer to the causeway

I have declined it twice due to price for a quick overnight option, seem to recall it was over £25 / night

But for two nights with an option to use the eating facilities it does look nice, think I recall that out of season they only do food at lunch time

Will review, cost £25 for 6m van per night. Bothy bar open for evening meal Friday and Saturday low season.

Took the MH up there last month for a day out to keep things ticking. Ate the restaurant. Great food and a good selection of beers. It looked like a really nice place to stay. Some of the pitches seemed to have cracking views out to sea.

We stayed recently. Some of the pitches were being extended to accommodate larger Moho. I thought it expensive for a mid week winter break as the food was only available till about 4pm and the bar didn't open at night.
However, the views and facilities were great and the meal in the cafe was decent before we left.

Never used the Barn (site), Have eaten there, but the site wasnt operational. We have stayed at nearby Brockmill Farm a couple of times?. CL with hardstands and electric.

Stayed there for a couple of nights mid week in June last year with good views from all pitches. It is quite expensive at £25 p/n but located near to Holy Island which is really worth a visit.

We stayed a couple of weeks ago for 2 nights, great location and views are spot on for Holy Island. There's access to a cycle path from the site taking you down to the causeway or you can drive. The food is excellent too although the restaurant closed at 4pm. Out of season the bar only opens at weekends so we decided to walk down the lane to the 'Lindisfarne Inn' which is only a mile away and has decent enough food and a good selection of ales etc plus a welcoming log fire.
