Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some information about doing a trip to the above.
What is the best time of year to go.
Approximate cost in tolls and ferries.
Does anyone have a blog on the trip.
I've tried doing a search on here but it comes up blank.

Someone called Mike is on Facebook doing it, been reading his posts.. Don't know if I could do a link ??

Try this..

That doesn't look right, perhaps you need to be a member of the group. Should look like this...

Here you go Mike, bit of waffle I am afraid, as I tend to do  but hopefully some useful notes on some options for routes stop overs

Great, many thanks. I haven't read it yet , but it looks like just the sort of thing I am looking for. Thanks for sharing.

The most direct route from the UK is to get the ferry from Newcastle to Ijmuiden, drive through Holland and Denmark to Hirtshalls then ferry to Kristiansand. Did this 2 years ago on motorcycles so not sure of motor home ferry costings.

The Arctic Circle visitor centre has plenty parking but in my opinion it's the journey there that's good and not particularly the centre itself. But one of those places you have to visit.

Weather is a bit of a gamble but June onwards should see all roads open, when we visited the Centre in mid June it was 20c ! A visit 10 years before, again, mid June, it snowed.

Enjoy your trip, it's a wonderful country.
