Hello everyone

My name is Honey and my humans tell me I am going on a Big Adventure with them - starting today!
I will be doing lots of things I’ve never done before because I’m only 8 months old, but they have done them many times so I know everything will be fine.
Apparently we will be driving a very long way in the motor home later today but that bit is easy as I‘ve done that before

Then early tomorrow morning we will drive onto something called a train and go through a long tunnel into a different country.
I hope all my paperwork is ok as I know my humans have been back and forth to the place where they always stick needles in me, trying to get the form completed correctly.
Apparently I’m going to get an EU passport while I’m away, which will make it much easier in future.
Must go, I’ve just spotted a squirrel in the garden and have to protect my humans from it!

Hi again
We left home about 1.30pm

I didn’t want to look at the camera as I was busy checking the sat nav was programmed correctly
After a very long drive, with two wee stops along the way, we arrived at our overnight stop - Canterbury park and ride. I spent most of the time snuggled up to my favourite piece of wood

Apparently this is the first time my humans have used this place (they used to stay at the sports club in Folkestone) but I must say it’s very nice. One of my humans took me for a walk while the other one cooked their dinner.
My own dinner was much later than usual but I was very good and didn’t make a fuss.
My humans tell me we have a very early start tomorrow so I need to get some beauty sleep now.

Hi Honey, Jack here. I’m an old boy now, 14 and a bit, but I’ll be following next week. Dad says he’s stopping at Canterbury on Monday night before going on the train thing on Tuesday. He says he’s then heading to the Aire at Le Crotoy harbour.

Hi Honey, I’m Pippa I’m 10 months old and i did that train thing the other week.
We went to a place called Belgium and saw a very nice lady Vet, she gave me lots of cuddles and some treats and I was allowed to run around her room while mum & dad sat with her, I think there was some writing in something then later I was teased about being Belgium!
Apparently I now have an EU Passport!
Mum’s happy ‘cos it only cost a few € whatever that is and I’m happy ‘cos I didn’t need another jab!

Bonjour tout le monde, nous sommes en France!
My humans woke me up in the middle of the night which was confusing because they’re normally cross when I do it to them
We did a bit more driving then got to somewhere called The Tunnel where I was taken to meet a very nice lady who told me my paperwork was fine .
Look where my driver parked in an otherwise empty car park

Then I shouted at the person in the tall kennel until she gave my humans their passports back - well done me .

We stopped for breakfast next to a pretty river in a little place called Houlle, near St Omer. Some dodgy looking ducks wandered past so I shouted at them to make them run away but I don’t think they understand English because they didn’t move . After breakfast we went for a walk along the path next to the river. I like it here.

After a couple more comfort stops we arrived at the place we’re staying tonight.
It’s in a little place called Banteux, next to a canal. We’ve been on a long walk and now I’m waiting for my dinner

Hi everyone
I was so excited about the two German dogs next door that I woke my humans twice last night so I could go outside to see if they wanted to play. Sadly they were far too sensible and stayed fast asleep
After breakfast one of my humans took me for a walk and a long game with my ball while the other did things to our mobile kennel involving emptying and filling, water and hoses.

We soon left the place we stayed last night and did some more driving. I don’t really like being tethered while we’re moving but most of the time I just sleep on my bed anyway. My humans keep telling me I’m being a Very Good Girl so I must be getting something right
After a couple of comfort stops we have arrived here for tonight

We went for a long walk by the river and had a brilliant game of stick throwing and retrieving

Must go, there are ducks to shout at

Hello again

After a good night’s sleep one of my humans took me for a lovely stick and ball throwing game in the park behind the aire while the other one made their breakfast.
I have to let you into a secret, although my real name is Honey my humans have other affectionate nick names for me which they use frequently. These are (in no particular order) Stop it, What Are You Eating Now and Come Back You Little Sh1t. I’m not too sure of the last one though as when they use it I’m often quite a long way away from them
Today we did some more driving and arrived in a town called Tournus.
We went for a walk around the old town

We also took a two hour boat trip up the river. I had never been on a boat before and my humans said something about getting used to it, but I don’t know what they meant by that
Anyway I loved it! Although I got a bit tired towards the end.

I’m hoping my humans feed me soon as it’s been a very busy day and I’m starving. But then again I’m a Labrador and permanently starving!

Hello, it’s me again
Today we did some more driving. I was told it would only be a short trip today which I was pleased with because it’s boring as I can’t run around outside and find disgusting things to eat, but we ended up driving for longer than my humans thought we would. Something to do with the places we might have been going to being either full or closed.
So my driving human decided to take us up a mountain to find somewhere to stay the night. I could tell my other human wasn’t pleased with this as although I didn’t understand the words she used, I did recognise the tone of voice and kept my head down

We finally got here and it’s brilliant! There’s snow and sticks and everything! Everything except enough phone signal to post the pictures so I’ll post them tomorrow.
Apparently tomorrow we will be in a different country again! How exciting

Hello again!
Here are the pictures from yesterday

Today we drove through another very long tunnel into another different country! We stopped a couple of times so I could stretch my legs and have a wee but mostly I was very bored and slept

Tonight we’re staying at a brilliant place where my humans have stopped several times before. It’s called a vineyard, and there are lots of fields for me to run around in.

My humans have gone out to eat in the restaurant and it’s the first time I’ve been left alone in the mobile kennel. I know they’re not sure if I’ll behave myself, because one of them keeps coming back to look at me through the windows
They don’t need to worry though as I’ve been left On Guard which is a Very Important Job.
I’ll let you know tomorrow how it goes …..

Hello everyone
I will start by saying I was a Very Good Girl yesterday evening when my humans were out and I was On Guard. No bits of the mobile kennel were chewed and I got lots of cuddles and praise when they got back. I like cuddles nearly as much as I like dinner!
I was sad to leave the vineyard as it’s the most brilliant place we have been so far with lots of space for me to run around and and new smells, and also truly disgusting things to eat. There were cats to chase but I wasn’t allowed to do that even though they teased me by walking past.
We drove for a while again today and have ended up in a village my humans haven’t been to before, as the place where they wanted to stop was full. It’s not a very pretty spot but we found a grassy area to have a long game of stick and ball throwing. My human forgot his phone so he couldn’t take any pictures
Between you and me I’m getting a bit fed up with all this driving and try to hide when my humans pick up my harness to put it on me . They tell me we haven’t got too much further to go now and it will be very exciting when we get there. Wherever it is
I can hardly contain myself

Hi, it’s me again
We did some more boring driving

but stopped for the night at a place called Offagna. There’s a lovely grass area next to where the mobile kennel is so I’ve been doing some running around and ball games, but the three big fluffy German dogs a few kennels down all shout at me when I go near them so my humans try to keep me away. I think they want to play but their human says not

We walked into town

And looked at the view

Then sat in the sun for a while

My humans keep trying to make me stay still next to interesting things so they can take pictures of me but everything is just so exciting and I want to be next to them not sitting on my own
Apparently we’re having another exciting adventure tomorrow involving A Ferry, whatever that is

Good morning everyone
Sorry I haven’t posted anything but I’ve had a very exciting couple of days

We did some more driving on Friday morning but not too much, and ended up in a place called Ancona. My humans told me we were going to go on another boat but it was much bigger than the one we went on on the river the other day. I wouldn’t sit still enough for them to take pictures of me in front of it though

I got very bored waiting to get on the ferry so just did one of the two things I usual do when I’m bored

The other one is chewing stuff I’m not supposed to, but I don’t do that very often. I do try to be good
Anyway we eventually got on the big boat and went to explore

It was great fun and there were lots of interesting doggy and human smells
But I soon got tired and needed a nap

Later on my humans went to forage for food and left me guarding the cabin..,

The responsibility was exhausting

My humans came back to get me for a walk while the sun went down and I briefly decided to behave and stay where they wanted me to

The next morning we had to get up very early - which I didn’t mind as I’ve recently taken to wanting to go out at 3am, then again around 7 which my humans really enjoy - and got back into the mobile kennel. They put my harness on which I know means we’re doing some more driving. But it wasn’t too far.
We arrived at something called a boat yard and this is my humans’ boat!

It’s not like either of the other boats I’ve been on, and it isn’t in the water so I’m a bit confused.
I can’t get on it at the moment as I can’t get up the ladder so I guard the kennel while they do things to it

They tell me it will be put in the water soon then we will all go and have another adventure!
I can’t wait

Hello everyone
It’s been quite boring here as I’ve had nothing much to do apart from guarding duties.

I did help one of my humans fix something yesterday, he called it “tender”. I wonder if it was sore because it was broken

My humans take me for walks around the boatyard but I’m not allowed off my lead any more as I’ve discovered a delicious source of nutrition, kindly left for me by the numerous stray cats. They get quite excited when I find some humans are strange.
I’ve made friends with two black Labradors who are living with their humans in another mobile kennel, My humans tell me they’re Italian which explains why I don’t understand them. We all get very excited when we meet and often our leads end up in a big knot which takes ages to sort out. It’s brilliant fun!
I’ve also made friends with the staff in the local restaurant. They all know my name now and I get cuddles and lots of attention when we go. Yesterday evening I was a Very Good Girl and waited patiently while my humans ate their dinner

Anyway, it’s time for my morning walk now so I have to wake one of my humans up.
They won’t be happy as it’s raining. I don’t mind the rain but I don’t like having my feet dried before we get back in the kennel.

I wonder what we will do today?

Good morning everyone
The day before yesterday was very boring as I spent most of it guarding the kennel while my humans worked on the boat. I did get to visit my two Italian chums a few times and we had great fun playing charging around games, off the lead this time which is much easier for the humans!

Yesterday they woke me up in the middle of the night again and gave me breakfast with me having to wait like FOR EVER, so I knew something really exciting was going to happen again
Anyway, some other humans came and took the boat away with a big noisy machine

I shouted at them to put it back but nobody listened to me
Then my humans put a big sheet over the mobile kennel and tied it up like a parcel, I was a bit worried at that point because I didn’t know where I was going to be able to sleep guard .
My humans found their boat which had been stolen and the noisy machine had put it into the sea! Very strange. I was expected to get on the boat with my humans but I was very nervous

And had to be lifted on with the handle of the rather fetching orange jacket they’d made me wear

After a few minutes the boat started moving and soon I found I was rather enjoying it

We quickly got to the place my humans call Preveza town quay, which isn’t far from the boatyard. One of my humans dropped something heavy in the water at the pointy end of the boat while the other drove us backwards towards a space between some other boats.
Very soon I was On Guard again

I chose this spot as I could guard the humans downstairs and my bag of food at the same time.
This position was particularly comfy

My humans showed me how to walk over something called The Plank to get off and on the boat. I was really nervous at first but soon got the hang of it as I am A Very Clever Girl and as long as one of my humans is there everything will be fine.
I was taken to explore and found lots of brilliant new smells and disgusting things, then later my humans took me to their favourite eating place and I met their friend who owns it.

We got on really well as he brought me some delicious scraps of cooked chicken and a bowl of clean water. I like him a lot.
It was all way too exciting and when we got back to the boat I had to go to sleep as I hadn’t napped very much

It’s all brilliant and really exciting! I wonder what will happen today
