The 18 Norwegian Scenic Routes (1 Viewer)

When we visited Norway in 2014, we experienced quite a lot of roadworks which I later decided might be related to a mega project to create and develop 18 Scenic Routes, from Varanger in the north to Jaeren in the south.
I’m wondering if anyone has explored these routes, and what they think?
We are considering the southern routes, maybe as far north as Lofoten, but it might be too much for 4 or 5 weeks from May/ June.
Advice or experiences will be appreciated,

We did the Lofoten Isles in 2017, check your mileages it caught us out, Narvik back to Calais was well over 2000 mile

We nearly wrecked ourselves getting home in 10 days

I have no knowledge of the southern bits we only did the north
